KKChess is Looking for Chess Instructors and Volunteers!
Are you passionate about chess and enjoy working with children or seniors? Join KKChess, a well-established and dynamic chess school with locations in San Jose and San Juan Bautista!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to teach chess to children (ages 5-10) and mature, patient volunteers or instructors to work with seniors. Chess knowledge is a plus, but we provide training!
Responsibilities:
- Teach chess to children and/or seniors of all skill levels
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Encourage students to participate in tournaments and chess-related events
- Record student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
Optional but Appreciated:
- Develop lesson plans and activities to enhance learning
- Provide additional one-on-one coaching sessions
Requirements:
- Passion for FUN and teaching chess
- Enjoy working with children and seniors
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Completion of our evaluation program
