The Parent-Child Chess Class and fun competition. Bringing the family together again did just that.

Parent- ” I admit I felt like a kid again in those tiny seats.

Parent – “Kaptain is so easy to follow and understand.”

Child – ‘ It was fun and I liked playing with my dad

The parent and child tournament is an event specifically organized for children who are new to chess and do not have an official chess rating it aims to provide a platform for parents and children to engage in chess activities together.

The tournament consists of two separate sections:  classical chess and giveaway chess.

Classical chess follows the standard rules and time controls of the game allowing players to test their strategy skills and decision-making abilities. 

Giveaway chess on the other hand is a variant of Chess where the objective is to lose all your pieces before your opponent does.

Prior to the tournament, there will be a basic chess class conducted for parents and children.

This class will cover the fundamentals of chess and provide guidance on how to play the game. The intention is to equip parents and children with the necessary knowledge and skills to continue playing chess together even after the event has concluded.

To participate in the tournament interested individuals need to provide their children’s name and contact information while activating the link below for payment.

Overall, the parent and child tournaments aim to foster a fun and interactive environment for families to bond over chess and encourage the development of Chess skills in children.
